Luke never stood a chance as the ewok ignited his lightsaber actually against his "master" and disemboweled him
Follow the story of one Ewoks revenge as he hunts down and brutally slays those who let his people fight men with blasters
Marvel at the brutality as he slaughters entire villages
Laugh as cute animated cgi aliens are blasted apart with heavy weapons

Frankly there is plenty of room to make Star Wars movies without having anything to do with the original cast, the whole period of the movies covered almost 3 generations and there was a lot more going on than just what we saw happening to the main characters, and the struggle between the Republic and the Sith has been going on for millennia.
My only worry is that Disney does not stupefy the whole thing and turn it into a joke.
