We will be bringing the Tribble server down for maintenance to apply a new update.
ST.25.20121118e.10

General:
  • Updated STFs to add additional rewards.
    • There is now a chance to earn additional Omega Marks, Borg Neural Processors, or level-appropriate gear.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented several missions from completing.

Still about 500,000 bugs in the game needing to be fixed deserately!

Is the chance for BNG loot drops Elite STFs only?

Any explination on this chance* also this sounds like another nice update.

Random drops I'm guessing?

My second question is do the extra marks and gear drops apply to both the normal and elite versions?

any news on when the 26th patch will be pushed to holodeck? im really looking forward to those lowered wait times for the REP system and opening my omega box.

I've tracked down the issue at hand. It stems from not all Bridge Officers sharing the same defining config files.

So, while these projects are set up to accept generic Boffs of the associated types, those Boffs are only currently obtained thru receiving a "Failure" outcome on Duty Officer assignments that recruit that species of Boff. The ones purchased at stores, or received from mission completion, are different config files, even though they share the same Display names. Therefore they cannot be used for these projects at this time.

We'll be updating the Projects to accept a wider range of Bridge Officers (hopefully encompassing all possibilities), and should have that fix in next week's patch.

should be today (friday) from what stahl posted. they held it back a day to make sure the private ques were working.

never made it to holodeck release notes, well the new loot drops arent in the notes :/
