# 1 Success vs. Crit...
12-26-2012, 12:16 PM
i know, i know, it's because of (bad) MATH that success eats away from crit chance if there is no option for failure (and that this will not change).

but this is just getting silly now:

can you (Dev's / Borticus / Archon) at least change these no-fail assignments (all of them plz) so that the Profession of the Officer is not a *negative success modifier* but a crit trait instead?

it just makes no sense what so ever that the correct profession for a job reduces the crit chance.

If it can't fail, there shouldn't really be success traits at all, only critical traits.

MMOs aren't charities. Corporations are supposed to make a profit. It's what they do.

Yeah. Always seems so ridiculous that a DOFF of the preffered career gives you worse results than a random unrelated DOFF on assignments like Commendations.
