I was getting so sick of having to manually select my ship every time I needed to repair I have dismissed all shuttles I have. Fortunately my only shuttle is the To'duj fighter so I can reclaim it whenever this gets fixed. I was considering getting a z-store shuttle for my Fed, but will not until this get fixed.

The work-around I've used is to rename or discharge/reclaim the 'non-shuttle' ship. While this works, renaming might not make some people happy. Discharging/Buying another JHAS will annoy most people and the fact that renaming/discharging anything tend to bring about the need to redo your power tray angers everyone.

So try this on Tribble first. Also this 'feature' will tend to come back if you rename/discharge/reclaim anything (ship OR boff).

They really should just engineer it so we can assign ships to certain slots... and have the power trays and whatnot be slot specific. Or heck, even store those locally on our PCs (how fast will it take for us to learn how to edit it?).

PS Don't hold your breath waiting for this to be fixed. Like the power tray issues, or the drunk transporter chiefs at Qo'nos...

Also, and I don't know if this is related to the shuttle, but pre-S7, when I pressed the U while I was on the ground it would open my character window, showing my toon's paperdoll and ground gear. When I pressed it in space, it would open on my ship gear page.

Now I press U and it always seems to start with my charcter's paperdoll screen, no matter whether I'm on ground or in space...

Please, please fix the selection of ships. It's been broken for months and at some point it was claimed it was fixed but it's not. I've submitted several bug reports but they all go unanswered.

I agree, it should be reverted to the old (not broken) ship selection method.

My fleet members were planning a bunch of shuttle missions in private PVP/PVE events, but we can't do them due to this new system.

And yes, the Character Info > Current Ship is annoying, and it seems only half of the time it shows the person's correct ship name and class. I personally don't mind everyone seeing I have a Tholian Widow Fighter, but I find it bothersome to find out what type of ship soe guy is flying, only to be befuddled by a Danube Runabout.

This is an issue that has been affecting the game for MONTHS now. Their idea to "fix" ship selection and make it better for all of us , quite simply never "worked as intended" and has done nothing but make the game more difficult and annoying to play.

Ya, fix it or put it back. The old system wasn't an issue except to some who wanted to shortcut the way they selected their shuttle, instead EVERYONE got a broken 'fix'.

Either FIX IT or UNFIX it !!!

Yes this shuttle non sense is extremely anoying. Plus what lordhavelock mentioned, I really liked how the character/ship screen would open correctly when on/in ground/space. Just checked, renaming the shuttle to start with a letter after my ships first letter makes the ship come up first to change gear. The info page now opens properly when on ground it opens to your character and in space it opens to your starship.

Also, I fly the fleet advanced escort. Recently I bought the mirror version so I could use the mirror hull material on my fleet ship. I want people to see when they look at my info that my ship is the fleet ship, not a shuttle.

Lets also fix the loading problem with everyones info while we're at it. Made a bio, no one can see it. fix please.
