The Dec 6th patch supposedly fixed the location of the Cold Comfort Lobi Crystal by removing geometry that was in the way, now the problem is that the activation area for the door panel is too high, my 6' tall character has to jump in order to even get the "inspect door panel" to be an option which isn't much use since it the inspection process can't be completed.

Confirmed. The panel is 3/4 stuck inside the wall.

That's right, the only way to reach the lobi is using a cover shield

I was able to get the acc by jumping and hitting f at apparently just the right time. The progress bar kept going after I landed.

I noticed this problem with almost all of the wall consoles in the game after the patch... but as the other guy said, you can spam jump+F to get it.... it's just a huge pain in the arse

I did the same exact thing. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

this workaround doesn't do it for me, it just cancels after I land...

Hmmm, cover shield.
I thought maybe putting one of my boofs rally point there, then jump on his shoulders, but this is a better idea.

Jumping works, it worked better when I was close to the corner. Cover shield is not an option for sci or tac unfortunately (unless you are teamed up with an eng that is). It took me a while to figure this one out actually, maybe 10-20min. It was pretty annoying because I could scan for it, but nothing was showing in front of me.

Confirmed:
jumping works, but you gotta hit the 'F' key immediately after leaving the ground.

...but todays patch will put reaching the console on easy mode.
