I just saw the new Toron and sorry to say that I really do not like the changes.
The canonical Toron shuttlecraft never had "X-Wings" and in TNG the Toron was not the size of a Runabout but around the size of a Type 8 shuttle. So I fail to understand why the need to modify a canonical ship with such......features.
Why not keep the Toron as is and just rename the new Toron something else. Why not the Kivra? We see the Kivra flying around KDF Starbases and we yet to add that to the ship roster.
Highly agreeing with OP. The 'new' Toron shuttle is a disgrace. What's the purpose of changing something that rarely if ever recieves any complaint whatsoever? Not only that, but it does not fit with KDF methodology. What are the wings supposed to be for anyhow, extra armor pieces to be shot off?
