# 1 Tricobalt spam cruiser!!

Thinking of this http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/skillplanner/index.php for an acr build.

I'd be equipping it with either 2 tricobalts foreward and the WAQT aft or splitting the tric's up. As well as adding the nadeon detonator console.

Probably not going to use the new sets just the assimilated mod.

Thoughts?

One your link just does to a blank skill sheet, not your specific build.

Two, if ACR stands for Assault Cruiser Refit, isn't that a little slow-turning for a torp boat? Even for tankiness, I think of the Chell Grett, Steamrunner, a single-A2B Armitage build, or maybe a versatile sci ship like the Vesta or Nebula.

wouldn't 2 tricobalt torps in the front have conflicting cooldowns?

iirc there is a global for tric's but its shorter than the standard reload anyway, can't remember tho since I haven't used em in a while.

Not any more. The cooldown was changed. You can fit 4 now without anycooldown problem.

Translated: every 15 seconds something gets 15-20k damage shoved down their throat. I approve.

Add in Tric Mines, and all of a sudden we've got a troll-boat that can actually do some major damage XD.
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.

or nothing since each and every projectile is targetable (actually an issue in stfs). personally i think you are better off with an omega and a romulan torp launcher with HY1 or 2

i also think that sci vessels would be better for torp boats...grav well and and a tricobald device in the middle...you know the usual borg genocide.

breen ship comes also in mind...dispersal pattern beta 3...grave well 1...APbeta 2...tricobald mines and a tric torp front, should be nasty.

I would like to inform you that you have been reported for a violation of the Geneva Convention. Above posting violates the articles protecting soldiers in war from cruel and unusual punishment/treatment at the hands of their opponents.

I'm currently using both those on my excel. Part of going tric's is what happens to them when you use nadeon detonator. The acr is just because I have it and don't use it, that ans it fits nicelt between the excel and oddy. When I get my breen ship If I havn't already done this ill try it out there. Could also work on a chimera too I suppose.
