Seriously, I just logged in and ran around handling some stuff then I go to space and my powers are reset... AGAIN.

Not just a simple "reslot boffs to fix" either, I now have to spend 10 minutes remaking my tray before I can do anything.... STOP IT!

Did you happen to change ships?

Seems STO only remembers the settings for one ship (two if you got a mirror universe counterpart).

I'm having the same problem. BOFF abilities seem to be randomly added to my power trays during many map switches. It's relatively annoying.

I joined an STF and when I arrived on the map, my Bridge Officers were gone and my Power Trays were empty. I was not a lot of help in that fight I am afraid.

Several things can cause this:

-New Ship Purchase
-Old Ship Deleted
-New BOFF added
-Old BOFF deleted

I do wish STO would memorize individual ship profiles and BOFF assignments instead of forgetting them everytime a new ship is selected.

if you dismiss a ship, any ship your active ship may change *slots* and use what was saved for that slot instead = screwed up power bar


as long as your powers are slotted somewhere in the power bar they will not appear on their own.
if you just remove them they will appear again in a random free slot.
best thing to do with powers that you don't want to see is to slot them in row 4 - 10 and only use rows 1 - 3


the removed BOff powers, and that we all had to re-slot them one time and one time only, was because of a patch that fixed a Season 7 error.

I wish they would fix the whole powertray malarkey.

My ground skills are shifting around. But only ones that come from devices or armor set bonuses, so it's easy to fix each login.

Not sure why, though. I don't recall this happening each time I logged in on a character. However, the last thing that was happening to me ended up being a UI change I hadn't realized happened, so I don't know if I have a real problem or am just missing something.
