I'm finding threads that have been necro'd not 30 days, more like 30 weeks.
How do people find these and post on them like it was made a few minutes ago?

Forum search, most likely. Let a mod know via PM or ticket and they'll put them back to bed where they belong.
I don't get it either. If it isn't people necroing 2 year old threads, it's people posting the same topic 6 times in the same 20 minute span. Some folks search to much and some don't know there is a search at all.

Spamming topics/posts in multiple forum sub-sections is also a violation of forum policy and is a banable offense, those that do this are either/or impatient, bots or trolls, in such events for the impatient ones their threads need to be merged and the latter 2 just removed once a mod is notified.
