I for one like my Red Matter Capacitor.

The art book, the TOS Connie and comm badge were nice touches too.

Definitely worth it. I picked it up when I started getting into STO over the summer. Borg BOFF works for Fed and KDF both. Same procedure for both - go to c-store, legacy unlocks, and get the borg BOFF and RMC. The TNG uniforms are pretty sweet. DS9 unis are also nice to have.

YES YES YES 100% YES!

Picked mine up recently, and it's unbelievably good value for the money.

A Red Matter Capacitor and Borg Boff in every character is very handy.

It gives you a month of gold which gives you lots of benefits:

Free account bank
Lots more bank slots on all toons (I had my bank maxed out and this almost doubled it)
Lots more inventory slots
Free ship slots (4)
Free BOFF slots (4)
Free respec tokens as you level up.

All of those things (minus the respec tokens) carry on after you gold membership (1 month with collectors) remain untouched.

Definitely worth doing (especially for less than the price of a months gold!)

Red Matter is very very good when you got an Exocomp DOFF on your toon.

And how about for a lifer? Seems the only bonus for me would be the capacitor and maybe some costumes. Still something to consider?

The Boff is quite nice too.

I though the Borg Boff was for preorder/amazon or something like that, and not included in every collector. Was I mistaken ?

I got lucky with my local Target and found a copy of STO in a bargain bin about a year or so back and it only cost me 4 bucks and that's how I got the now worthless TR-116

The colelctor's edition I got came with this nice bronze combadge pin and yeah, codes for getting Borg Boffs and the RMC.

I didn't get the free borg boff from my Amazon purchase. However, I did get everything else. So when the 30 days are up, I get to keep the extra boff slots; inv space and extra character +foundery dood? Nice.
