the Mirror-Event (or if you like it "Mirror Invasion") is facing just underpowered enemies with your new-generation Romulan- and Plasma-Weapons today. I made 7 runs on it within one hour (Level 50 Character) and the only way the Mirror-Forces could stop me was to hold me from 3 or 4 sides with Tractor-Beams.
When a friend came from behind and used his Tractor-Repulsors to throw these ships into my firing-arc it became too easy.
So, why don't you give them a little more power? For example: Since Nukara Prime was released, we know that the Mirror-Forces have got Odyssey-Class-Ships, but in the Mirror-Event their Flagship is still a Galaxy-X.
I don't dislike facing a Galaxy-X, but those would be better to use as lead-ships for the different attack-groups.
Now that we all have got the Omega Torpedo Launcher (maybe in a few weeks also the correct Romulan Torpedo Launcher - Fix soon (tm)), it would be nice if the Mirror-Forces would have Hazard Emitters, so that you can't burn them while their shields are up.
It would be also nice if we could see that those ships are "worthy prey", can't you equip an Assimilated Set on (at least) the flagship? Then replace their Tractor-Beams with Hazard-Emitters and maybe let a few Escorts use different weapons (AP for example).
That way the Mirror-Event/-Invasion would become a lot more fun.
First one half of the so called Community complains: "Give us instant access to all veteran rewards, for going lifetime.", then the other half of the same Community complains: "I've earned 1000 Day membership, I want a special reward.".
Stop complaining, if it is enough for you, you could have the "Captains Table" for the real veterans, I don't want access to another dead social zone...
Just take the map as it is, only now replace the weaker ships, throw up some fortifications (Turrets along the hull of the already mirror-controlled starbase.), and/or have the enemy difficulty set to Elite, and improve the rewards just a little less than it now takes longer to complete. Then it may be interesting again, as something other than an alt leveling tool.

LMAO! I was gonna say! I've done up to 12 runs/hour. It is perfectly doable if you're in a good team.
As much as I admire the OP's need for a challenge, I'd like the devs to leave Mirror Incursion just as it is. Actually, no, I'd love one change: PLEASE remove the stupid satellites. The optional adds no real value (no special loot or accolade) and it definitely does not "weakens escort groups". Every time a noob scans them all it does is draw mobs away from the starbase, making you having to chase them (the mobs, not the noobs, though that'd be fun).
I think we can all agree that Mirror Incursion is about farming dilithium. You wanna shoot the mobs and the Stadi -and only the Stadi- as quickly and as close to the starbase as possible then get out in under 5 minutes. That way you can repeat the mission up to 12 times/hour which will land you 5760 dilithium ore, plus loot goodies that you can later sell for EC (not to mention the XP if you need to level up).
You want a challenge? There are plenty of other options. Leave Mirror Incursion alone. Getting our daily dilithium cap is already hard enough as it is.
The original version had the I.S.S. Enterprise-F as the boss, but they changed it to the I.S.S. Stadi for some reason. Maybe it's time to change it back.
As suggested above, perhaps they should make an "Elite" version with more battleships and dreadnoughts in each group. And the other Terran ships (escorts, science vessels, etc) should be present as well in both versions.

I was actually in one where some [redacted] had the nerve to demand that we not kill the last group till the satellites had finished their 'uploading' or whatever the hell it is they do.
I'm shocked I wasn't banned for how I responded.
Either add extra DIL for actually completing that worthless optional, or better yet, as suggested, get rid of it.

I agree, leave the MU as it is and add an elite one for the lvl 50's
on lowbie teams I see the entire team collapse over and over as all 4 fleets converge on the spawn point. Making them tougher for lowbie teams would be a nightmare
However a tougher one for ships that are already nicely equipped by captains that actually know how to use their ships, would be great. (that being said I still run into Elite Stf's where they have no clue what they are doing :p )
