anyone had problems with shields playing up on the M/M/R,Explorer IE don't do seem to do anything no matter how i set them 500 regen 17,000 shields or 1000 regen 9,500 shields,,,,have played around but it don't seem to make any diff. They did work ok till other day when i was playing VORTEX ELITE got taken out about 12 times before i worked out my regen rate was 130 ?? but the shields were 12,500.
PS gone back to using my Destroyer 10,500 shields 500 regen no problems,,,,,

In the STFs. . .once the Borg start actually shooting at you, it can be rather difficult to keep your shields up unless you've got a strong shield tank setup, which usually requires an cruiser or a specific kind of build in a sci ship.

I wouldn't be too discouraged. I suggest trying to find ways to buff your hull resistance. Neutronium consoles, Brace for Impact against HY torpedoes, Auxiliary-to-SIF ability for small hullheal and hull buff, etc.

I dont understand your problem aside of being destroyed 12 times. Whats exactly the Problem? Your Boffs? Shield?

Just having strong shields and regen rates are not enough to be successful in STFs. And that two ships have different shield strengths is normal, since they have different shield modifiers.

I had all ready played vortex elite 3 time that day with no problems, the problem started when my shield regen rate dropped to 130 ???? when it was set at about 750 and its not been right since,,,,,,,,,every time i get shot at BANG,,,,will have another play but if no luck scrapyard for my M/M/R Explorer and go back to using my KDF Bird of Prey and Vor'Cha cruiser,,,,

yeah its just bloody annoying that they worked well then got killed towards the end of vortex came back and just kept getting killed, had a play today still no good,,,,,,now using my destroyer only decent fed ship i got.

I think nothing is wrong. the stats you see might be due to the shuttle bug. the ship works fine for me, never seen such a bug

its more than likely that iv done something but just can work out what or my grandson been on it when i aint been looking he's 3,,,,,,,lol,,,,,,thanx for reply's will keep trying.

found out how to fix prob, removed borg shields, engine, deflector, replaced with omega set then switched back, work fine now,,,,,ps glad it wasant me or my grandson,,,,,,happy new year.
