I would like to know what some of the shorted words mean?

WOT

TL;DR

IP

Op I think means original post, but sometimes I see it being used in a different context, and if so what could it also mean.

I will ask more if one needs to.

IP generally stands for Intellectual Property. As in, Star Trek is the IP of CBS.

TL;DR stands for Too Long; Didn't Read. It's a way of summing-up something long you wrote into a sentence or two.

WOT on this forum is probably referring to World of Tanks, a popular FTP game.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

OP can be either original/opening poster as mentioned but it can also mean over powered when referring to abilities.
