Yeah, it sucks. Maybe it'll get fixed soon.

And I know that one fleet in particular is abusing them hard.

Yeah, you should let the devs know. Send a ticket with the info just in case.

Nonsense.

The best fleets never needed these doffs or similar junk to win.

****ty low-tier scrub fleets like the one currently exploiting it probably, but not the top fleets.

He does bring up a good point about no-win scenario, I am seeing the system message spam of people beating it a lot now.

I think the devs do fix things that break pvp sometimes though, like the repulsors bug, tricobalt mines, voldemort, t4 rep shield heal, although these were all used in pve too, it was pvpers who mostly brought these issues to devs attention.

You think that your beta test was bad?

It's not PvP Related. It's game related. If it were just a PvP thing, then most definitely - it's highly unlikely that it would ever be addressed. It's not, though.

Like all the other things, the PvE folks are abusing the Hell out of it in PvE. It's getting the Devs attention. They will address it eventually. Cause it's a game issue, not a PvP issue. It's doing more damage in PvE than in PvP. Kind of like most of the things that the PvP folks get blamed for - they were things where there was a big issue in PvE...not that there was a big issue in PvP.

Trust me, if you do what I said, a bug like this WILL get fixed. And faster then you'd think.
Ok will do when I get back in game so I can look at the exact info for the doff to give them.

no respectable pvp'er would stoop so low as to use these.

theres a patch coming up soon, they will have been back at work and able to fix things that piled up this christmas season. if that doff isnt fixed in that patch, i'll be VERY disappointed.

It's the first time I'm proud of being an ignorant hick

Edit: As I've said in the other topics on the matter, yes, it's an unfortunate bug that should not exist for much longer on Holodeck now that the team is back from break and it was discovered during it. I'm fairly certain it's fixed in the next patch as it's now fixed internally. ~Brandon
