I don't know what it was, but yesterday I was flying my Odyssey with my Sci toon and the turn rate didn't seem that bad. Has it been changed or something?

Perhaps you're getting used to it? or that a new piece of equipement has been put on there? The game itself hasn't changed in weeks, we've had maintanance but no patches.

That said, my own Odyssey did handle a touch better with the adapted maco engines, they have a slightly higher turn rate over the regular ones and it was enough for me to dump the RCS module I had fitted, which turned out to not be a huge boost anyway, so I guess I really shouldn't of bothered with it really.

side question.. slotting 4 Mk XI blue RCS modules, just how fast could that thing turn ?

I wish. No change seen or felt in my Ody and I've been playing it every day for the past few weeks.

IIRC its been shown that RCS has little to no effect on bricks like the Ody because they're based on %. So x % of a small number is still tiny. RCS consoles work better with faster turning ships.

Maybe I'm getting used to it. It has all standard equipment on it. Nothing special here. If I had the money and time to experiment, I would, but seeing as how I still have a lot of Dilithium grinding, EC grinding, STF grinding, Romulan Grinding and Fleet Credit Grinding to do....yeah....

Perhaps your power settings got reset yesterday? If you normally run 100 Weapon power and you get reset to 'balanced' the engine power going up to 50 base power will give a decent boost to turn rate.
