I'll begin by saying I'm in a very very very small fleet, so getting to tier 4 is all but a pipe dream. I don't want to leave my current fleet for a large fleet, I just want to buy a T4 KDF fleet. The obvious solution is to leave my fleet for a couple of minutes, join the new fleet, pay the fee they require, and rejoin my old fleet. I will add my fleet mates are more than fine with this. We all know we will never get a T4 shipyard, or even T3, in fact all starbase projects stopped with the advent of season 8.

My question is, what's a fair price to pay for a T4 fleet ship? Specifically, I want to buy a fleet Hoh'sus bird of prey. Right of the bat that's 4 fleet modules, ($20) what's fair compensation? 1 maybe 2 fleet modules?

I know there are fleets that sell fleets ships, perchance, anyone know which those would be?

I bought my Fleet Defiant from another fleet. It really depends on what you have, and what they need.

If you've got copious amounts of Dilithium (like I did), you shouldn't have problems finding someone to sell you a ship. Some fleets might also need Fleet Marks.

My advice is to make a thread over --> here <-- saying what you want to buy, and what you're willing to offer for it. It may take a day or two to get a response, especially since you're looking for a KDF fleet to deal with.

You're going to be responsible for obtaining your own Fleet Ship Modules, though, on top of whatever you pay the Fleet that's selling you a ship.

If you don't mind me asking, how much dilithium did you have to fork over? I know the Fleet defiant/valiant is T3, I just want to make of rough estimate of how much they are going to ask for.

IMHO, this thread really brings a fault of the Fleet System.

There are many small fleets who will never see Tier 4 and 5 and have no choice but to leave their fleets to join with a larger fleet to see the various rewards or like you, temporarily leave their fleet to buy what they need and return.

Would be nice if Cryptic would take the time and revise the fleet system so it wasn't so tough for small fleets. So they don't have to wait years to see content people are enjoying now.

Our kdf fleet has has a t4 shipyard for a month. Just join raider armada and buy it.
We won't "sell it". We aren't jerks.

That's very kind of your fleet - my new KDF fleet is working toward T5 - sadly I had to leave my orginal KDF fleet because it all but disbanded after season 7.

The amount of KDF fleets that make it to T5 - EVER - will probably be countable on your fingers. No more than a dozen max(yes thumbs are not fingers)

I wish fleets could at least merge. Saying good-bye to all that work you poured into a starbase because your fleet is on mothballs... meeeeh.

I had made ideas months ago of types of alliance systems for fleets, that they could work together and sharing resources. So a large fleet could benefit by sharing provisions, and the small fleet could offer projects that members of the large fleet could use to earn Fleet Credits.

Or fleets working together and pooling their resources together like a collective.


That or Cryptic revises the Fleet System so it's doable for small fleets that can't afford millions of Dilithium.
