as far as balance goes, you proboly doubled the crit chance the average player might have had before season 7. but at the same time you more then doubled the passive health restoring, regeneration and avoidance there was before season 7. power creep much? slight power creep is one thing, but this is a power stampead! salvage this situation by not allowing stacking of any of these boffs. only let 1 of each kind benefit you

But defiants are squishy... I really dislike the idea of being super nerfed. I wouldn't want to see Superior cover operative nerfed below 1%. Going from 3.8% to 1% would be reducing it to 26.31%. I would rather have it halved, but 1.267% would be 1/3rd (ish) of what it is now. So 3 romulan boffs with superior covert operative would be 3.8%(ish) Which isn't bad at all, and I think would be a nice compromise. Make the critical chance 3 times worse, but still giving it enough bite to justify the fleet credit and dil used to get the boff. I saved for a while to get the boffs in the first place, and found out they were not working. Now that they may be working this week on holodeck will mean I finally feel like I'm getting what I invested into getting 2 boffs.

Lol the Fleet MVAM also has 5 tac consoles and 3 tac boff slots.

Assimilated console gives .92% critical chance, and the romulan console doesn't give crit severity so it is sorta balanced that way for giving more crit chance. You're also forgetting the tier 2 romulan +3% crit chance passive.

And 8.9% crit I said before is with all 3 consoles, the romulan passive, and whatever base crit is. Just make the boffs a third weaker so 2.5 becomes .833% and 3.8 becomes 1.267%.

Great, huge kick in the ass for people like me who have already purchased four Romulan BOffs. I totally agree with you that the critical bonus is nuts at the moment, but this shouldn't lead to the decision to make them non-stackable (this would also hurt the other abilities, which are far from being overpowered). As deusemperor already mentioned, all BOffs stack and it would be therefore a bit out of place to make Romulans the only ones which don't. Just reduce the critical hit bonus to a reasonable amount or remove it completely for all I care and just keep the rest, but let them stay as being stackable. I invested a fortune in these BOffs as have many others, don't make half of them worthless.

Keep them stacking, but reduce the buffs. Don't get rid of critical chance. Most fed ships can't cloak! Making these boffs absolutely useless if all they did was buff cloaking abilities!!!!

Let them stack and reduce the +critical chance so its a just third (or a fourth of what it is) amount it is now.

Main points:
1) All other Bridge Officers traits Stack. Keep it that way. (Keep It Simple Silly)
2) Most people already have multiple boffs of same type so they spent a lot and making the other 3 boffs on a 5 boff ship useless is really really mean to put mildly.
3) Most fed ships don't cloak. Getting rid of crit chance makes those boffs useless therefore being extremely mean, and meaning I lost the whole reason for getting the boffs in the first place. (I don't run a defiant or a galaxy -x)
4) The Romulan boffs mainly benefit the KDF since most of their ships have cloak.
5) The issue is the Critical chance is too high for pvp, and maybe pve. So lower the stacking value to a third or a fourth of what it is. Remember there is no satisfying some people even if they added .01% crit some would still complain. >.<
6) A lot of resources were spent to get the boffs so don't nerf the crit chance too much to make them seem like they were a waste of resources.
