It's been dropped in the recent Developer Q&A that we are getting a 6th tier rank and presumably 6th Tier ships but What is is an Admiral with out an Office? The intention of this suggestion is to complement long standing requests for more personalize spaces in ships and etc. Instead, I recommend offering a Admiral's office projects, like the fleet base except personal and much smaller. As an Alternative, this principle could be applied instead to the Captain's ready room on board you'r ship, how ever there are 2 doors on the upper level of the Ship area in E.S.D that would be perfect as Admiral Offices ( universal entrance to personal space) and though much more professional oriented than a home, this would for fill the Home's function as an MMO ( while the ship's interior gives the impression that it was meant to do this, it falls a bit short- no offence to our word working developers).
Addendum: there is also the lower level of ESD which gives the impression that there where plans to continue to develop it at some point which haven't gone through.
The lower level of ESD was primarly intended as door to Foundry missions.
And: There is a whole ship whose interior is UGLY, set up illogically and serves virtually no purpose. Please Cryptic, tend to that before giving us housing at starbases. Oh I already foresee private special projects: "Set up a fishtank in your private Admiral's office for 10000000000000000000 dilithium"
Another worthless "social" zone which is NOTHING but a dilithium dump.
I feel the same way about private quarters on starbases as well - I mean, how does having a nice set of drapes or duvets do anything to your gameplay experience.
Ship interiors can at least be justified by having missions/STF take place using the player's customisations, whereas the only action one would get in personal quarters / offices would be [CENSORED] and dealing with piles of PADDs.
