A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
I've recently fell in love with the look of the wells science vessel, I think it's hot.
My main toon is an engineer captain...I know they're not good for much these days, but I'm most attached to him and he has the most progress of all my characters as far as doff chains and reputation, as well as currency. However, he has a fleet escort for pve and a fleet star cruiser (healer setup) for pvp.
I have a 50 science and tac captain as well, so those are the other options.
I guess what I'm getting at is, is the wells going to be a waste on an engineer captain? I've seen a couple pvp healer builds for it, can I pull those off as an engineer? How about a pve dpsish science ship? I don't want to invest the resources in getting this ship and then gimp it!
I don't think you'll 'gimp' it by putting an Engineer in there but you have to respect the fact that it's a Science ship and respec accordingly.
Having a bunch of Boff stations dedicated to Sci abilities and not having the necessary skills to use them to your best advantage would be a waste.
If you plan it properly you'll end up with a ship that has some unique capabilities, some great Science buffs/debuffs and is very hard to kill (thanks to your Captain abilities).
It won't put out crazy amounts of DPS (but you can tweak it to get the best possible results) but it'll work fine in PvE and maybe even in PvP.
