As far as grinding, Borg Rep is generally easy, just PuG Elite KA or Infected space.

For Romulan at some point you'll be offered a mission to go to systems in sector space then find and scan anomolies. It rewards 10 Rep points. You also will get some sensor currancy if you run the 1 minute mini game and if you save up to 300 or so you get decent rewards. If you also run the combat mission in these systems you'll get 20% towards the daily. So if you run all 5 you get the reward for the Sector Daily, the Sensor Scan Daily and some sensor currancy. There's a decent # of drops from NPCs for ECs as well. I prefer this to Bunny tagging.

On the rare occassion Sector Space Red Alert pops and there's something to fight run it imo for New Romulus Sector that is.

Doff mission on Qonos 1st City rewards 2k dilithium for turning in contra band, so do this along w/missions that get you contract band. There are a variety a missions that convert prisoners to Dilithium as well. You'll need dilithium for various things. Also Pi Canis is still decent for this, PvP depends on how often it pops.

If your looking for Fleet XP, turning in 10k doff XP for those categories you have over 110k XP is a good source. Look for Doff missions that have high XP base reward and easy crit chance to max return on this.

Ground Incursion is decent Fleet Marks to time if a decent PuG group. The Freight rescue is the same, but even more dependent on allies imo. If you don't have Doff categories @ 100k or just want to suppliment their rewards.

In summary, I'd used the Doff system to suppliment/be main focal point of Dilithium/Fleet farming. Grind Romulan/Borg Rep yourself.

the HY omega torp is a HY plasma with 4k hitpoints and typical HY projectile evasion. its very hard to shoot down and very resistant to AOE. even PSW and TBR. it also does more damage then a normal HY plasma torp, theres no disadvantage with it at all. with decent specing and HY3, it should do enough damage to 1 shot by itself.i can lazily get it to deal 15-20k damage non crit with HY1, and just 99 into projectile skill.


when your not buffing it with HY, it has 5 charges that it fires at a rate of 1 every second and a half, until it uses all the charges, and then fires at a slower rate. after useing torp tac skills with it, it actually puts the torp on a 10 second cooldown were it wont do anything, which is EXTREMELY stupid. when you use a torp skill every 15 seconds, you will never get to see its charges drop, or use it in the unique way its intended. its unbuffed charges deal less damage then a DHC hit, its not a full plasma torp worth of damage. but they do set a bit stronger plasma fires then normal when they do hit

if you a kdf centered player and have been gone a wile, you may be happy to know that there is now a good kdf escort. the fleet somraw has a nice 16 turn, 3/3/4 console setup, an ENS eng station, and of course a cloak.

theres also a fleet version of the tier 4 nasican ship, its got a 17 turn rate, a sci ENS, 3/3/4 consoles, and a nicer shield mod, no cloak though.

these fleet ship have better shields then their listed mod would suggest, a link in my sig would explain more.

And for klink side, if your fleet has no elite shields yet available. Go grind omega marks with STF's. After completion of rep, you can get the adapted honor guard shield which is in fact the MACO shield. Very good on birds since its also a resilient shield.

You would choose that over a passive shield heal, when the ground sets give a free remodulator? Why? I am curious.

when you do the tagging. Use your F button instead of mouse to activate a tag. that is faster. You can also use your mouse to turn your view during a tag, so you already spot your next hamster.

I usually tag alone on kdf, because i hate the waiting for a team. I always get 3 tags, and since i tag every day, (with tagging having 20h cooldown and the doff mission 24h cooldown) i always have enough tags because I have to sometimes skip a day to do the doff mission.
