If you think about a large fleet with five hundred members(the 77empire has 4 at that capacity)it is difficult to get folks in the rite hat.five ranks for 498 people isn't enuf.in not saying we need another 498 ranks,just saying a few more could help fleet leaders create department heads with in their fleet.post if you agree or disagree but polease lets start this conversation so as we may get some ideas flowing.thank you very much and have a great day.xx

Although I don't have any fleets that size and I'm not in any fleets that large. More fleet ranks would definitely be a huge help.

It would be nice that instead of giving fleets useless projects such as Exocomps or statutes that consume 200k DIL better to have "real" upgrades such as having more "fleet ranks" or "fleet names" in neon lights....agreed give more fleet rank flexibility

That may actually be a good idea. In the case of the Fesasan Shadow Force, we have the rank for new recruits, and then followed by 4 "ranks" that are really just the same rank, but with a different specialization based on your playing style (space combat, ground combat, crafting, and roleplaying). After that, the rank jumps straight to Elite.

Don't get me wrong; I like how we have separate Specialist divisions within the same rank, but it does waste 4 rank slots.

FSF's rank setup is essentially identical to my fed fleet (we have beginners, four departments, higher one, and highest).

+1 for more ranks.

I agree that more ranks would be lovely. I'd like to have different tiers of the specialist ranks.
  1. Initiate
  2. 4 Specialty Apprentice
  3. 4 Specialty Specialist
  4. 4 Specialty Chief
  5. Elite
  6. Master

So, 15 slots will make me happy.
