With high end items running in the 10's to 100's of millions of EC, someone making 300-600k EC once a day is not "breaking the game" For it to be game economy damageing the average player would have to have 10-15 toons. Most have 1 or 2. I have 4 so by me earning at most 2 mil EC a day is going to destroy STO as we know it? So by giving every active player in the game 2 mil EC a day is going to destroy it? Its not going to do anything except help some smaller fleets advance faster and sell some XII gear on the exchange, thats it.

There was very similar to a defense of the console clickers. "It's only 1440 dilithium and stuff is expensive for my small fleet!"

Maybe remove the ability for missions to drop items that can be vendored, and instead award a fixed amount of EC (20,000?) via the IOR return?

You know, given what Cryptic apparently thinks of people who try to bring value to the game... I'm done. Deleting my 4 VAs and looking for a game with devs that actually like their playerbase.
