Thanks SO MUCH for all your support, and we'll see you in-game!
I knew when last month Keys were going for 1 mil each and Zen was extremely cheap I should stock up on both. And with the Key sale today and the cost of Keys between 1,5-1,6 mil, I made enough EC to buy both ships. The Dreadnought for 89 mil and the Escourt for 100 mil. I had 190 mil saved up. And made 160 mil as soon as the Servers came up and I dumped about 100 keys on the exchange (they all sold instantly). So 100 keys I bought for cheap zen and about 50 for 1 mil a piece when they were cheap, got me both ships and lots of EC left over to buy the new Phased Poloron weps to go with them.
The problem with that strategy is that you need a large amount of capital before you start trading :p
I'd gotten a supply of some 25 keys in those days, which made me a hefty profit, but nowhere near the kind of money I'd need if I wanted those ships (which, luckily, I don't really)...
It's simple take that thing most of us call "real life" put it in a little tin get a coffee mug that says I <3 Star Trek
Forget about a love life or social life or eating and then make it your aim to own every ship on this addictive mess of a game just for the sake of saying I have that one never fly it though oh and the phrase "I'm better than you in pvp" to which said reply could be I should hope so the amount of iwin consoles you just pressed on your first strafe of me
Then when your bored of spending 2k a month on a FREE to play game come on here and make a thread that reads
"What the Jem hadar ship should be"

Math says its probly cheapest to go with keys or ship modules, depending on the market. With the release of a new box keys are probly the best bet.
Grinding EC is what I should do... but every time I do I buy a key from the exchange... I'm happy enough with my existing fleet of ships that I'm waiting to see what others think of her before I invest. She is pretty, but in a few months there will be something prettier. That is how it goes.
