A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
I was wondering if the lack of veteran skin on the Aquarius was a bug? If not is it something that can be changed?
I can confirm that the fleet store version of this ship DOES NOT have access to the veteran skin. It's confusing to me personally since the version that comes with the Odyssey can use the material in question. It also has no access to the Type6 material, which again confuses me since it's the default material that comes with the Odyssey version.
On a related topic there seems to be a bug with this ship. Once you customize it and select a material you can't change it again unless you click on the "randomize" button.
I would also like to suggest that they add animation to the nacelles. It would be cool if they extended when warping out of a system and while in sector space and retracted when entering a system and while in it.

I noticed the issue with the Type6 material and the inability to recustomize. At the time I thought it may have been due to the fact that I was using the M.A.C.O. shield and that maybe the effect it applies was glitching it out. I've removed the shield since then to test it and I'm still having this problem.
I also wished my nacelles had animation, I thought it was one of the cooler features of the version that came with the Odyssey.
You're entitled to your opinion. While you might not like the ship, I and others do. I've been using it for over a week now and am enjoying it very much.

It's really not, you just have to know how to use it. People used to more durable larger ships are bound to hate it unless they take the time to learn how to use it.
Having said that, whether or not I use it isn't the issue here. The issue is that it's bugged and it's lacking some options that IMO seem like no brainers to have on it.

It's functionally an inferior Tactical Escort; it's got the same turn rate and intertia, while having one less weapon slot and lower hull & shield HP.
There's nothing that the Aquarius does that the Defiant-R doesn't do better, really. The only point in its favor is the universal Boff slots.

Again, the stats of the ship ISN'T the issue in this thread. The issue in this thread is the lack of cosmetic options that should have come with it. I would appreciate it if you kept the comments on topic.
If you want to start a thread about the stats of the ship and it's combat abilities, please feel free to make your own thread.
I'm having the exact same issue, The Vet skin looks real nice on my launch-able version for my oddy, I was pretty disappointed that my actual one can't use the same skin
