Agreed. More importantly, it should not open a dialog to everyone in range that he is leaving.

Until the OP's request comes through, I intend to make a Foundry mission in which the player can kill Mudd again and again and again. I'll let you guys know when it's finished.

Post it when you do! I'd gladly donate some Dil into the project! I'd like to give the title of the mission as "Mudd Flapps" as a suggestion.
