I am in need to find a good experienced fleet. Not just a fleet, but a fleet that actually knows what to do in regards to STF's and such. I've had a horrible experience in a fleet where I felt I was unwelcomed and was very...rude to certain members to the fleet and instead of resolving conflicts they'd rather just talk trash about the person behind their backs. I am real big into STF's and is willing to help new members on how to successfully complete them.
I am at lvl 50 tactical officer on the fed side and I am currently working on a science and engineer officers on the federation side and tactical, science and engineer on Klingon side (I am trying to get a feel for all the careers).
I also am at Tier 5 on both the Omega and Romulan Reputation. Also have completed the optionals on the STF's so I know how those are ran. What I am looking for in a fleet that is medium to large in size, active, mature (and WILL NOT accuse others for some crazy drama and push them off to the side if they wish to pursue an officer position), runs fleet grouped STF's and around a T3-T4 in fleet projects (trying to get a lot of awesome gear for me and my boffs). Thank you all for reading this.
You sound like you'd fit in with SRS. I started the fleet to avoid immature drama and hopefully have succeeded. We are 300 strong, at T4 starbase with an international roster, English speaking mostly. Always between 5 and 30 online at any one time, we run STFs and all the fleet/rom mark events. We have a T2 KDF fleet too. If you are interested please mail me ingame matt@TFR_MACO_SPECIALIST or via our forum which can be found from our website:
Hello there. I am sorry to hear about your negative fleet experiences, I have had similar so I understand where you are coming from. The fleet that I run has a 0 drama policy, we simply do not have time for useless bickering and double talking. In my fleet conflicts (if there are any) are resolved quickly and maturely, but if anyone insists on starting drama then they are let go. We'd rather have fun, not constantly walk on eggshells around other fleet members.
My husband is very big on STF's, myself and two others run them quite frequently as well. We currently have a roster of about 15 very actve members, and there is quite literally almost always someone on line. We have the US, UK, and Australian time zones about covered.
We are currently T1 Embassy and T3 SB, but are about halfway to T2 Embassy and swiftly working towards a T4 SB.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I would be more than happy to talk with you. My in-game handle is @Ael
I still know a few fleets out there that I really dont miss. And Im sorry that you had deal with this type of mentality. But believe it or not there are some "down to earth" fleets out there. Iam no salesman and Iam not gonna try to lure you to my fleet. I believes its best that a person like the fleet hes going to be part of and if not, find something more to his liking, on that note, I can only explain to you my fleet and you becoming a possible member within it.
We are a casual fleet, a fleet of friends, but more so we look at each other as family. There is no drama, and we are very accepting of any new folks to the fleet. We are there to help you and or "as funny as it sounds" want to enjoy the game we love as you do possibly and do things in game as a group. In terms of stfs, we have increased doing this as a fleet. We have a few guys still rusty with them, but as we all know, no one is an expert on there first go. I myself can pretty much do any stfs with my eyes close. Fully t5 myself like you, ive done all the optionals and i do them on a regular basis even without my lovely fleet mates. Active with alot of folks who do them "stfs" as well so I know a good amount of guys to do them with. But like I mentioned alot of the guys even gals in the fleet are slowly getting a bigger interest in the stfs. And if your looking for an officer positions that can defenetly be a possibility aslong as you show the characterists of a good leader
We are a fair bunch, not a huge fleet "as we dont want to be to huge". We want to know each other on a good level, not have 100 people in a fleet and guess who they are when we see them. Starbase level and what not really isnt important to us, ill just state that Im sure you would be very satisfied in terms of where we are I always believe its not the end result that defines a fleet, its the journey it takes. We've had a grea time with the starbase stuff, not to mention embassy.
Anyways dont want to make a book here so ill just say if you want to give us a shout, and btw our fleet name is Starfleet Operations Command, give me a shout in game @xXLocutusXx. I hope to hear from you but I also hope you find what your looking for, safe journeys.
We are a mature fleet, with 80ish characters, some casual with a good set of core players. We make it a point to train and teach all members interested in running STFs the right way. We are a real fleet, we run STFs and fleet actions and work together to achieve our goals, we help each other, test ideas and changes and improve.
We have no drama, no power struggles, and we don't intend to let that happen.
Check us out at the link in my sig, watch our videos, or find one of us in game. You can msg me @nicha0 if you'd like to find out more.
The 88th sounds like it may be a match for you. We are primarily Fed but are working on building our Klink side as well. I would consider us a medium sized fleet, our most active time is around 10:30pm EDT. We are a 21+ fleet(there are some exceptions). We do ask for people to be on mumble during group events, they don't need to speak but at least they can hear what's going on. If you like to chat or learn more about the 88th you can click on my signature to go to our homepage or try out our informative foundry mission called 88th Introduction, or find me online at @Mcmatter
If not you should consider the UFP (UFPlanets.com). Our members are fairly mature, thought that doesn't interfere with our ability to have a good time and joke around. Being rude and unwelcoming isn't acceptable, so you shouldn't have any problems, and the members are fairly supportive of others.
We have people who do all kinds of things in STO, but we have a division called the Elite Strike Force (ESF) whose main focus is on running STFs. THe basic requirement for an ESF member is to know what you are doing and being accepted as a full recruit of the division happens after demonstrating you know enough to lead a team to victory in an elite STF, so we know our stuff. That doesn't mean you have to be a member though, we run STF events multiple times a week, and everyone is free to do STFs whenever you feel like it, and there's usually somone hovering about to help.
Currently we have 3 in-game fleets, 2 Fed and a KDF, the main fleet has everything in the starbase up to tier 4 and we are leveling everything evenly, the Fed alt fleet and KDF fleet are up to tier 3.
Sorry to hear about your bad experiences with some Fleets. You may want to checkout Elite Defense Starfleet.
EDS is a no drama, friendly, casual fleet with over 300 Fed members from both sides of the Pond. We also have a sister KDF fleet, Elite Defense Stovokor, with over 150 klinks. Both fleets are linked by a common in-game chat channel to help coordinate events and activities. Our chat channel is very active and you are encouraged to use it to ask for help on missions, create teams, seek advice, or just make some social conversation.
We welcome players of all levels, professions, factions, and abilities. But far and away we focus on running the end-game content as a fleet including: STFs, farming for dili, Fleet, Romulan and Omega marks, along with PvP and Foundry missions.
Our Fed Starbase is T4 (closing in on T5); KDF T2; and the Embassy is 4 days away from being T3 complete.
If you are over 30 years young we may be the fleet for you.
I am not one of them but I believe that our fleet has some of the best PVP and STFers in the game. Our top PvP premade team can stand up to the best and wins way more than it loses lol One of our lead STF experts has done three elite STF?s on his own and got the optional. Not bragging but these guys can up your damage in one or two times out with them.
We are a mature, relaxed fleet with a good mix of casual and serious players. We all have two things in common, we are old and we like everything Star Trek .
