Hello Captains,
I've decided I'm going to try saving up ECs for a lock box ship, rather than try my luck with master keys. This will take some effort, but it's doable. So my question to you all is this:

What lock box ship do you recommend? Which one have you used and which one rocks? I'm leaning more toward a cruiser (for my engineer) or escort (for my Tac), but if I get an overwhelming number recommending a science lock box ship, I'll definately consider it. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Edit: Oh and if any of the Lobi ships are to die for, tell me about those as well!

I'd recommend the Attack Ship. Best there is and most probably there ever will be.

But my favorite lockbox ship has got to be the Tuffli. She doesn't look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid.

Personally I agree the attack ship is the best. However the new Jemmy escort looks good, i havent used it yet, also this ship is not lockbox her say, but the Mobius time ship is also a very good ship if your an escort captain.

For a tac, the best you can go with is the Jem Attack Ship. Short of that, the best IMO is the Mobius. The Jem Heavy Escort is actually rather tricky to use, given the lack of science skills if you want the decent tactical ones. The Mobius, on the other hand, has a much more flexible layout.

As for cruiser, I haven't flown either one, but the D'Kora is more of a tank, while the Galor is more of a DPS cruiser.
Take it easy!

Galor unlocks arguably the best beams in the game, and is a great tactical cruiser.

Attack ship is not a lockbox ship

Do not confuse the poor guy. It is currently only available via the exchange for an extortionate price.

I'd say the Jem'Hadar Dreadnought is the best damage dealing ship that isn't an escort.

The dreadnought is not a lockbox ship and a fleet torkhat would out damage it twice over so would a galor

Without doubt the JHAS don't own one but the thing is quite literally idiot proof put a tier one just joined the game fed recruit in one and he would still out dps everything around him including the Borg
----=====This is my opinion you don't have to listen and no one else has to read them these "OPINIONS" are based on my exploits and my learning other people will have their opinions and that's fine just don't knock my way of doing things thanks=====----

I have them all except the D'kora.

1st JHAS - no contest
2nd HEC - excellent ship and a lot of fun to fly
3rd Galor - Brillaint tanking cruiser with great DPS and the chance to roll a Cardy toon to fit, cool bridge
4th Wells - So beautiful to look at, cool bridge and really nice sci options.

The Dreadnought may only fit one less turret than the fleet Tor'Khat, but it also has four tactical consoles, can fit DHCs and has two fighter bays that can use the all-powerful Elite Scorpions. It also has plenty of tactical boff powers like the Tor'Khat, with the inclusion of Cannon Rapid fire 3 or Attack Pattern Omega 3 which the Fleet Tor'Khat does not have. The Galor doesn't even rate against the Dreadnought on the damage scale.
