Hello i currently own and have in my ship roster the tactical escort retrofit, but when i go to the shipyard store it still says i need 4 fleet modules in order to buy the ship, whats up with that????

I obtained my defiant prior to the game going F2P dont know if that will have any effect on it, cause it shows up in the zen as i dont own it. is there anything that i can do to have that cost reduced without having to re-purchase the defiant from the store ???????

I have the same problem and as far as I can tell its intentional.

If you got it from your VA token rather than purchasing it from the C-Store, it doesn't count towards the discount.

Sounds like you purchased the Defiant-R with a VA token, or Emblems (if it was back in the day before F2P). It would only qualify for the module discount if you've purchased the account wide unlock version from the C-Store.

Also why is the Fleet Defiant the only Fleet ship to not receive a 10% boost to its shield modifier?

isnt that a little unfair??? why cant u switch it so that those that got it with the va token or before the turn over get the ship unlocked?? kinda like a member reward if anything it shows u that we've been playing long enough to have warranted a little break

I have been asking this question since the fleet ships came out (actrually since the stats came out, and havent recieved an accaptable answer, as "balance" is not accaptable, since there is not much to begin with, and if you look at the jemmie attack ship, you can clearly see howe weak an excuse is that)

The fleet defiant is still tough it doesn't need any more shields it disposed to be a glass cannon

A ship like this shouldn't be able to walk into an stf tank a tac cube kill it and heal back up it does it shouldn't be able to walk into pvp tank 5 other players destroy them and heal up it can(not me but seen It done)

With a field gen and maco shields it runs at 10k shields

Because you didn't pay money for it (excluding subscriptions). You essentially got it free.

To my knowledge, if you had owned a Patrol Escort, you cannot get a Fleet Patrol Escort for only one module.

At least the Federation can actually GET some ships for 1 FSM. KDF still have to pay at least 4 for every Fleet version.
