Tac Team with 2 Tac Team Doffs Is the only efficient way to use the team skills i find... there is no getting through it as long as you pick up a EPS or TSS... or preferably both.

All I can say is... prepare to get CC'd to hell. A tac needs to jump the sci unawares, and stop shooting when you see Feedback Pulse come up.

Most of all, pray that you managed to spike-damage the ship in half with the chance you get or else the sci would just subnuc + whatever tricks it has back at you into GG.

Very powerful stuff.

This is assuming the sci knows what he's doing of course. There has been times I managed to kill scis with the dreadnought cruiser decloak lance attack and the lance didn't crit...

I'm still learning lots about PvP, I do have some previous PvP experience, and as well as attending the boot camp. I generally do average in PvP, and in most 1 vs 1 matches with friends/fleetmates I've come out victorious.

That is except against one player. I believe I was up against a Vesta/Sci capt, and he used runabouts as his pets. Barely could scratch his hull, the sci power debuffs he threw were quite overwhelming, and he added more insult to injury by using chroniton torps to debuff my speed and turn rate, as well as target subsystem attacks. **sigh**

I have APO to counter the tractor beams/holds, and I always run my engines at 50, with my capt skills and gear is currently boosted to 66.

The only ship I use to fill the escort role is my Jem'Hadar Attack Ship. I just want to see what constructive feedback I can get, as I do want to improve as a PvP'er. So my question is, was there no possible way to win?

I have this same problem with a fleetmate who is sci captain and uses a vesta, he uses the adapted omega shield and told me his shield cap is something like 21k, not to mention the target subsystems, the cool sci buffs he uses, plus he runs the aux phaser cannons which are quite strong if your aux is high (which his is) then that purple bubble thing only vesta can use that keeps you at a distance, plus he too uses the runabouts and they are annoying as hell, i use a jem bug as well and have not figured out how to beat his setup yet as everything he does keeps me tractored or my power levels drop to 0 or flux constantly, i think those runabouts use chroniton weps plus have tractors themselves, then he uses tractors as well as graviton pulse console, and hes using viral 3 i believe and can get it to last quite long,,,ive used eng batts, evasive,,and APO but its never enough to get out of all the slow downs and holds.

hes stomping me in 2 on 2 as well,,,cause him and his teamate only focus on me and just keep me held still with low power as he knows i have the highest DPS in my fleet and it scares him lol.

When playing teams i can manage to kill him a couuple times but as one poster said its because so much is going on he cant constantly focus on me and i can do an escorts job and sneak in there and DPS him to death.

Feedback Pulse isn't nearly as horrible as some think it is in the hands of a Science officer. All of the boosted you do still can't beat a Tactical officer boosting the damage with his abilities.

I've fought many Science ships who attempted to use Feedback Pulse on me, and while it did do a good amount of damage, I wasn't panicking because of how low the hull damage was. Now, if it was a Tactical officer in a Science ship with Feedback Pulse 3, I'd be worried (if not dead before I knew it).

My fleet mate also tried to boost his Feedback Pulse 3 damage as much as possible, and decided that it really wasn't all that significant.

Now, if it was as powerful as the Hive Onslaught versions, I'd be more cautious....
