Were Elite Tactical Drones buffed? Two hits and I'm done! Never happened before.

They've always 1 hit me, so sounds like they haven't changed at all.

I don't know if they were buffed, but they hit a lot harder at range than they do in melee. Get in close and start slapping them around, and you should be okay.

If you crouch (c key as default) that should increase your dodge by 50% and reduce the damage you take, hopefully to survivable levels, though it does increase the amount of damage you take from melee.

Don't forget to aim (x key default) to increase ranged energy damage by 33%

One thing I hate about ground stf's as a sci is that I like getting up close to use a pulsewave, only that my team sometimes hangs back behind my character. Thus, if you heal them, your character does a 180 degree turn to heal them, exposing your back and taking bonus damage from the borg who are now flanking you
