# 1 relevency of fleet tor khat

So i wanted to get some opinions. im aware that the fleet tor khat is a phenomenal PVE ship. with DHCs mounted frontside. However, i dont see this being an option in pvp gameplay either in kerrat or 5v5 due to a 10 turnrate. i am also not a fan of beam arrays as i find them obsolete vs even escorts of todays setups {ie. resistances, innate speed def}.

can it work somehow? My main klingon is an engineer and while i lack ApA i fell in love with scorts early on and just need that dps. my other options are the fleet ho sus, which to be honest seems like a better fit. Or i could go with a cstore brel retro that has the added "bonus" {quoted because fleet ships should be account wide} of being account wide, allowing my new tac toon to access. though i fear brels could be one trick invisitorp ponies........please help!

for reference i am running advanced fleet dhcs, borg engine deflector, elite fleet adapt _ sheild, fleet turrets and cutting beam rear. with borg universal console. this is currently on a mirror raptor, but will be switched to whatever i am piloting

The fleet torkhat is one of the best ships in game dhcs are doable in pvp you just have to work on your holds ewp tractors

I use single cannons and demIII in pvp nothing can stand up against it in pug ques and I'm never out of the top 4 damage wise premades are another thing alltogether especially fed cheesefest premades

As to wether the bop or this..the bop is a totally different animal hit and run is key whereas the torkhat can tank and dish it out and remember 10 is only a base mix in plenty of engine power deuterium tanks 3 purple conn officers APO and ATD your laughing

But the fl.hohsus can alpha any ship in any situation just once you've alphas expect to be in the respawn que after you've been placated amsed thetad psw this special console that special console and a graviton pulse for good measure

2 of those doffs will do the exact same thing... there ya go I just saved you a few million ec.

Really though... considering if your flying that ship to kill things your likely best off with tech doffs and aux to bat anyway.

Omega + damp + aux to bat... and you can fly it to kill things.

Something like that would be a semi standard fleet vorch dps build

run 4 DHC with 3 Turrets... and the borg cutting beam.
Run 3 Purple Tech doffs... for the aux to bat cool down
After that... 2 Shield Distro Doffs... or 2 hazard doffs would be good options.

Its not the most tanky of cruisers honestly so the key there is aux to bat should keep your rsp 2 to around the 1 min cool down mark use it wisely... same with hazards... use it wisely its your only hull heal... (borg 2 piece would be a good idea)... slap the aux batts if you need to.

The standard sort of consoels should be fine... 1-2 armour units... a couple field generators... or a field gen and a recharge unit... with EPTS 1 on 100% of the time.. and aux to bat giving you another 20-30 power to shields the shields should be over 100 power pretty consistant so regen is in fact pretty good. (if you don't run a covariant shield anyway). One or 2 RCS units are nice if you can survive without a ton of armour... I like Hazard doffs for that reason myself... if I loose a shield or am about to USE brace for impact and engage your 2 hazard doffs for a huge armour boost for 10s. I find in my fleet vorch that 10s will mostly get me to my next RSP use.

kdf battle cruisers can totally use DHCs in pvp, but it requires good tanking, good holds and good timing.

i'd stick a torp on there and run HY1 in that second ens station if your gonna run tech doffs. im having good success running that on kdf cruisers lattly.

i run epts1 and 2 now, never understood how you can have it up all the time, there is always a cd between the two shared

LOL I thought about putting that version of the build on there for him...

Ya thats another good option... 1 quantum ... or the borg omega torp works well there... + HY 1.

Another thing I ran for awhile was one DBB... with a target engines 1... for awhile for the fun of it I ran target shields 3 instead of omega + engines 1... was workable...

The torp works nice though Don't is right. Just spec points in torps though if you can.
