# 1 Stay Warm, Stay Safe.

If you are in New England Like I am, stay indoors, and stay warm.

Please do not risk injury unless it is crucial. I almost lost my leg because snow packed onto it as I was digging to get to my elderly neighbor so in case of emergency she can get out.

Have some Hot Coco, or some nice bold coffee, hell earl grey is a damn good tea for sitting back.

wait til the winds die down and plows have managed to get through.

Good Luck and stay safe!.

This is a Ten Forward conversation, but what the hell...

I've already spent two hours digging myself out (10" of snow here in the Capital District of NY), gotta go to work this afternoon.

What fun.... Not.

heh, its 4ft here. in some areas in the same town it is higher about...6ft give or take, since the wind has blown it to a mound.

Not too bad here, but I live on the fifth floor so...yeah. My old neighborhood apparently had 27" of snow.

Either way, cheers to staying warm.

It's a good time for some Post Apocalyptic Gaming.

Dust off those RPGs.

You can keep yer 4' and I'll raise you a bunch of sunshine that has come my way.

It's cold as an ugly old enchantress' mammary gland appendage here though...

Currently 18* with occasional wind gusts up to 30 mph.

Expecting 0* to -10* tonight...

Where's that bottle of Kahlua.

Here's a solution for you: Send your snow to Alaska, dammit. WE want your snow so that we can play on our Snow Mobiles. (And 30 mph is not that bad.... 60-80 is bad. And 60-80 happens more than once a year up here.)

We have some, uh, drizzle here in Texas. Seriously I think I'd rather have harsh winters than stroke inducing summers. Of course the only time I've ever experienced more than a few inches of snow was while skiing in Colorado so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.

Stay safe up there.

I turned my backyard into the Ice level from Legend of Zelda a link to the past.

The kids love it...and by kids I mean me

From everyone on the STO team, stay safe and warm! We're all hoping the bad weather ships out soon.

Cheers,
