# 1 give 1 free respec at lvl 50

Its a complete surprise to beginners like me to discover that your points are locked at lvl 50. Even on second ship, it was very hard to project the points distribution, being careful and thinking ahead. Kind of irritating that I have to buy credits to correct this. One freebie at lvl 50 would be nice--you are locked but we will let you shuffle around a little, you'll have to buy if you want to do it again so get it right.

It's only $5. That's not very much money. You can't expect every possible thing you could ever want to do to be free.

No, sheesh I don't know why ppl keep wanting things for free and don't want to work for it. Free healthcare, free money from unemployment benefits. Gosh.. go work for it, lazy bum!

500 zen is not tough to get. Play 8 stfs everyday and wait for 5 days and get that respec token.

Otherwise, buy some zen using your money and help contribute keeping the game alive.

And there are some ships that are cheap too, like right now Mirror Universe Escorts are going for 100,000 EC on the Exchange.

They used to give free respec for level cap didn't they? Back when, you know, the game was still pretending to be an MMO and not a hamster wheel?

Lot of assumptions being made in here, maybe I gave them money already, you people dont know anything about what I do or dont do. Simple fact is you hit the cap because of arbitrary design decision and there is nothing you can do to correct. No backing out of skills or anything. If they are going to lock you down, they should provide a chance for you to correct it, pretty simple.

F2P as an acronym needs to be properly represented better, perhaps? Sets up some people for failure, it seems.

"But it's free... to play?"

"Only up to a point."

"But it says free to play and it's f2p!"

"F2P is just to get you to come into the game and see if you like it enough to spend money on it."

"But it's free... to play."

*head has now exploded from considering the endless discussion being generated from such thinking in the first place, and a lifeless corpse slowly slides past the keyboard to the awaiting floor below.*
"Dammit J'mpok! I'm a Warrior, not a Worrier!"

Yes as I found out with storage slots, it is actually extended-trial not free-to-play

Free to Play implies that only "to play" is free; if everything was free, they'd just call it "Free".

But you'd never know, because it would take 20 years to write, and they wouldn't be able to afford forums. Or a licensed IP.
