Turrets and drones will gain the adapted debuff like players do...but when they do, they start to behave oddly. On a player, the player will deal 1 damage until they remod. On the turrets and drones, they will either deal no damage whatsoever, or they will deal 1 tick of damage on the weapons that hit multiple times. Now, if I recall correctly, pets weren't suppose to be affected by this debuff, but it seems they are now, in a rather buggy and unpredictable fashion.
After some further testing in a more controlled environment, it seems as if, when they have the adapted debuff, some of the shots register normally, with no penalty, and then the other shots just don't even occur. In the case of the turret fabrication, it will show 1 or 2 of the 4 shots it takes in the combat log, and the others are not listed at all.
