Coming from a guy who claimed that (if memory served) something wasn't in a game on its launch, it does not make sense to introduce it, cause people won't use it anyways, I guess thats good.

Why would that come as a surprise to him? Star Trek's IP has an enormous fan base compared to the CoH IP. This is like being surprised the sky is blue.

It's good to hear the game is doing well though.
I think you are forgetting the fact that COH was the first major superhero MMORPG. So regardless of the specific IP it was based on, it attracted all types superhero fans(DC, Marvel, etc). While the Trek IP has a large fanbase, I wouldnt say its larger than all the fanbases attracted by the first superhero MMO.
