***Resolved Issues***
  • "Login failed for unknown reason" error
  • Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
  • Slow patching in the launcher
  • A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally

I am sure I read somewhere that season 7 was supposed to have a pvp revamp, or at least to start a revamp.

But ... what is wrong with pvp anyway?

PvP in Star Trek Online. Lol. This game is focused on old ladys who wants to be Kerk or Spunk for a while. Say thanks that there's still some PvP.

Back when Season 7 was upcoming. It was pushed back again.

We are still waiting for that new pvp map that was supposed to come out with S4. And the tournament queues ("already in testing or development" since 07/2010).

I guess Cryptic realised that it is cheaper to simply have player run pvp bootcamp.

I don't know, it might happen with Season 9.

Course, don't forget he doesn't want to call them seasons anymore... so it may very well happen with Season 9 - just a case that S7 was the last season.

Though, it was also mentioned that they might return to calling them seasons and there might even be a mix of seasons and other updates.

Figure there's the May Update, the Summer Event, maybe slip in S8 before the Winter Event, then we have the 4th Anniversary, another May Update, another Summer Event, and then S9 before the next Winter Event...

...so, Season 9 - November 2014?
