# 1 Warship Builds
02-13-2013, 05:39 PM
First up is my Tac in the Fleet Defiant.

Deflector: Maco
Engine: Maco
Shield: Maco

Front: 3x Fleet Disruptor DHCs, 1x Quantum Torp all (CritD)
Rear: 3x Disruptor Turret (Borg)

Eng: Neut, Mono, Zero-Point
Sci: Assimilated, Embassy Emitter (-Th, HuH)
Tac: 5x Disruptor Coil

(Covert)Tac Com: Torp Spread 1, Torp Spread 2, APB 2, CRF 3
(Covert)Tac Lt Com: Tac Team 1, SV 1, APB 2
(Covert)Tac Ens: Tac Team 1
(Efficient)Eng Lt: EPtS 1, Aux2Strut 1
(Leadership)Sci Lt: TSS 1, HE 2

Doff: 3x Conn Officiers(Evasive), 1x Shield Distro, 1x Hazard

Ship works amazingly well puts out tons of damage and can tank well enough. Really though I hate my Doff choices and am unsure what to replace them with if anyone has a good suggestion. Skill link: http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/skil...d=BBwarship1_0

Next up is my Eng in the Steamrunner.

Deflector: Assimilated
Engine: Assimilated
Shield: Maco

Front: 4x Fleet Anti Proton DHCs (Acc)
Rear: 3x Anti Proton Turret (Borg)

Eng: 2x Neut, Mono, Zero-Point
Sci: Assimilated, Embassy Emitter (+Th, Pla)
Tac: 4x Antiproton Mag Reg

(Covert)Tac Com: Tac Team 1, CSV 1, CRF 2, APD 3
(Covert)Tac Lt Com: Tac Team 1, APB 1, CRF 2
(Leadership)Sci Ens: HE 1
(Leadership)Eng Lt: EPtS 1, DEM 1
(Efficient)Eng Lt: EPtS 1, DEM 1

Doff: Warp Core Engineer, 3x Shield Distro, System Engineer(DEM)

This ship might not appear to have much tank, but with careful use and timing of my engineer abilities I can tank a tac cube until the sun goes down. The Leadership boffs help out a ton with that. Also I know I have 3 cannon abilities but the versitility is very nice. I am planning on getting a pair of Conn Doffs to lower the cooldown of APD so I can have 100% attack pattern coverage but sadly I am not quite that rich yet. Also he really needs a respec, skill link:

My last 'main' my Sci in her D'kora

Deflector: Omega
Engine: Assimilated
Shield: Omega

Front: Fleet Tetryon DHC (Acc), 2x Fleet Tetryon DC(Acc), Rapid Fire Missile
Rear: 3x Tetryon Turret (Borg), Tachyon Mine

Eng: Neut, Mono, Zero-Point, Assimilated
Sci: Embassy Flow Cap(+Th, Pla), Battle Module, Rule 62
Tac: 3x Tetryon Pulse

(Efficient)Eng Com: EPtS 1, Aux2Batt 1, RSP 2, DEM 3
(Leadership)Eng Lt: EPtA 1, Aux2Batt 1
(Covert)Tac Lt Com: Tac Team 1, CRF 1, APB 2
(Covert)Tac Ens: HY 1
(Leadership)Sci Lt: TSS 1, HE 2

Doff: Warp Core Engineer, 3x Technician, 1x Shield Distribution

I must admit this is not my favorite ship to fly. But I do like the CXP bonus and invested quite a bit of time into getting so yeah. Aux2Bat builds are exhausting to use as you must pay attention and nothing is worse to me then when I fire off a sensor scan at low power. It does work though and because DCs get a better bang for the buck out of DEM3 it gives me an excuses to use 'em and I like how the blue plasma fires look when they proc. I also just realized nearly all my toons could use a respec, argh. Skill link:

Evasive Conn officers are nice. The purple ones reduce the cooldown on Evasive Manuvers by 5 seconds each, and you can stack 3 of them. This will help you get to the next target or swoop around to get a better angle on your current target more often.

Shield distribution, Hazard officers, and Warp core engineers are also good choices.

I tend to avoid Projectile DOFFs for my Quantum-TS3 builds because I prefer to line up the cooldowns and use opportunistically rather than auto-fire to optimize #shots fired.

I've been thinking about the Hazard and the Cons but not really sure how often they would be useful so to speak. Then again the projectile ones I don't even really remember why I slotted them in the first place lol. Think i'll give the 3 Conns a whirl as they add a ton of versatility even the defense buff is useful if nothing else with evasive.

Thanks!

Purple DCEs would give a high chance for permanent uptime on your EPtS meaning more OPness

Added my engineer steamrunner build to the OP. I really gotta get a respec on him I thinks. And no that does not mean dropping the ranks in threat control
STO has a diverse group of players with a wide range of expectations and playstyles. To that end the STO team should endeavor to create a variety of content with a diverse set of difficulty levels and challenges. Cake for everyone!

Depends what you doing with it but I have one and my free VA Patrol escort is better in every department except damage and speed a steam runner will eat it for breaky (damn Boff layout sucks)

I suppose one way to look at it is with the defiant nothing will live long enough to need heals but you can't deal damage in the respawn que should they

And que the defiant lovers with them on their sigs and everything....

To op your missing out on massive damage by running fleet weaponry unless ec is a problem
----=====This is my opinion you don't have to listen and no one else has to read them these "OPINIONS" are based on my exploits and my learning other people will have their opinions and that's fine just don't knock my way of doing things thanks=====----
