People are saying that the tactical kumari version is bad due to seating

I urge people who genuinly think that to ask in this thread that at least the tactical version of kumari should be made available to kdf

Don't need it, thanks, I already DRIVE a Bird of Prey-and at least I can cloak and turn-this thing has bog-standard escort turn rate, no cloak, and it's built as an ambush hunter...with no cloak.

Frankly, I'm not worried about facing it, and don't feel some overwhelming need to spend fifty bucks on a ship that I'll never use on my Fed toon.

Look into Vanilla PvP if you're tired of the endless pursuit of grind, utterly unbalanced selections of geardo-inspired traits, and generally unbalanced and careless 'development' made mostly to turn this game into a second job.

I don't want it, really. Anything with 5 tac consoles (hell even 4 tac consoles) I think is a waste due to stacking penalties, and in a ship like this you want a good few engineer slots for eps manifolds alone due to the power drain. This is going to be like the Vesta, feds will buy it and realise they don't have the skill nor knowledge how to pilot it.

This is what it's going to look like ingame anyway when piloted by feds.

Anyway they should just give us k'vort and give us 6 forward weapon slots just for giggles, with 5 engineering slots (so we can actually use all our guns) and 3 tac consoles. That's what a real ship of that class needs due to current game mechanics.

We dont have Andorians, so why should we have thier ship?

More vessels are inbound in this year
lets wait and see what it brings us before we go all feddie and ask for what we dont deserve.

KDF absolutely should have an equivalent though. Ferasan raider of some kind perhaps?

It would be nice. Still we do not know if such an equivalent is already in the works and to be released later. Why not wait and see? If it does not come then we have a right to complain.

About other ships coming this year I believe that there will be.For federation for sure.

For kdf probably one or two new "tantalus" version of ships .

(Bortas'q is such thing = have 5 tac consoles but can't use them due to turn rate.)


Anyway untill now there are only 4 opinions :3 against it, one for it

eps manifolds no longer speed up powerdrain recovery, it only speeds up when switching powerlevels.

anyway, we already have the qin and mirror qin, which cloaks, that is what this thing reminds me of. only the very best feds will play it properly. johnny stf will fly into kerrat thinking hes god, and quickly return to the forums saying what a "pos" and "waste of money" it is. oh and "im done"

it is an awesome skin though, only reason id want it is for the skin.

At this point of the game i couldnt CARE what ships they release.

Just give me my Warbird already, and the crowd can whine as much as they want!

I'm hoping for some sort of Vesta analogue, if not a direct equivalent to see KDF release- and similarly for the Kumari- as some has suggested perhaps as a Ferasan raider, with some different console effects. Maybe build it along a trilateral axis rather than bilateral like the Kumari- so three wing cannons rather than two, but balanced as a unit, similar to quad disruptors or whatever.

Since the Kumari gets blue andorian phasers, why not classic/DS9 orange-red disruptors for a Ferasan raider.

Give them some sort of 'beam cannon' that fires SW style beam length blasts (although a bit longer so as not to infringe)

Or otherwise have it as like 'heavy beam projector' or the like, which could be fired (as a power) to break stealth. Yes, stealth- obviously not a cloak, but have a baked in Mask Energy Signature ability default to the ship in exchange for lower hull/shields/whatever.

Then you could replace the 'summonable cannon pets' console with something like "Battle Active Stealth Systems' which would be a console that allows the activation of the built in mask energy signature while in combat, and provides some sort of stealth/power levels/damage bonus. This would give you a less effective battle cloak at the cost of a console, but also some unique and/or set bonuses for running it. But players who fancy a more raptor-ey style approach don't need to run the console.


For balance, I'd stick the battle active stealth systems console on the Tac variant, the heavy beam projector on the eng variant.

The sci variant could have something like 'Exterior holographic grid' as a console, which would grant the 'ambush Decoy' power. This would be a console power you could activate during combat or out of it and it would stay active (like battle cloak), but it wouldn't make you invisible. Instead, it would disguise your ship as whoever you're targeting when you activate it- *friend or foe*.

So target your team's healer, and then to your enemy there's two of him.

Get in a furball and target an enemy ship and become a duplicate of it.

Obviously this would be a highly pvp oriented power that wouldn't generally be suitable to STFs (lol borg cube disguise I can haz regens now?), but I think it'd be awesome otherwise.
