Thanks SO MUCH for all your support, and we'll see you in-game!
I'd like to hope that a UI revamp involves both the UI that the player uses, as well as the UI seen on various consoles and bridge displays. Solid blues / reds is just... depressing. The colorful LCARS displays in various TNG-era shows was much more lively.
Also, a better balance between CPU and GPU usage would be nice.
I just hope a new UI that dont give you headache. Actually, I dont want a colorfull UI, I'd like grey-scales with high transparencies, and the ability to set up the size of each element. Yeah, with LCARS feeling also, but a 2409 LCARS

This is what I want to see in terms of UI functionality;
- Color Customization (Default: Colorful LCARS, Single Color: User choice color)
- Every UI element customizable (size, show/hide)
- Ability Tray Customization (rotate vertical/horizontal, add/remove bars, resize # of slots)
In terms of optimization;
- Better balance between GPU and CPU usage (UI programmer response?!?)
I'm actually pretty comfy with the UI's appearance; its functionality is another issue, but that's not going to be fixed by a repaint. LCARS... was designed to be largely opaque to the viewer and settle into the 'FUTURE!!!!!!' background much like blinky lights. Only seen it implemented once in a way I liked, and Birth of the Federation's interface was pretty simple compared to STO's needs.
Still, I'd actually like to see what the Cat does with it.
Are the mining minigame and the radiation minigame his work/derived from his big batch o'concept art, too? I'd search the forums but, well, yeah.
