# 1 Safe to close Firefox?
01-11-2010, 08:14 PM
I am using Firefox and downloading the client through Fileplanet. If I close Firefox do I run the risk of closing the download as well or will the client continue downloading? Thanks.

are you using the fileplanet download manager? if yes then you can close firefox. if no, then as long as the firefox download window is open you can close the main browser without the download being interupted, just be sure that either the browser, the download winbdow, or both is open at all times

Thanks. I am not using the Fileplanet download manager. It's the little Firefox download window. I will close the main window and leave the download box open. Thanks again.
