With the news of a FIVE FORE weapon ship coming out -ONLY- for Feds http://sto.perfectworld.com/news/?p=821871 , the existence of TWO Fed ships with five tactical consoles, and the utter lack of new content for KDF... why don't you people at Cryptic just finish boning the entire KDF faction and get it over with?
Maybe there's a reason about 15% of players play KDF primarily: we have extremely limited costume choices, extremely limited ship choices ("extremely" now because of the 5 tac consoles/5 fore weapons on Fed ships now with NO KDF equivalent at all), extremely limited mission development, and the utter lack of new content on a consistent basis.
You people at Cryptic could do something as lazy and as little work (since you guys don't really like doing work) as creating carbon copies of said Fed ships. Now, with Fed players getting unarguably the best ship in the game in 2 days time, what the hell is the point in anyone wanting to play KDF now? Do you people think we don't have zen and $$$ too?
You people have lost any income you'll ever get from me. This is complete bull****.
That ship is toast without good team support
Proudly lagging through sto universe since season 8,5
What worries you so much?
That a foolish Federation Captain will learn the hard way that firing too many weapons at once leaves your power levels near room temperature?
Or that 5 frontal weapons don't help much when the only enemy you can outmaneuver packed RSP?
Or that 2 rear weapons work only on a BoP because it's gonna fly circles around an Adorian Escort?
4 dhc's front is a massive power drain. that's almost 5 beams on it's own. you then add in a 5th dhc and/or whatever you have in the back and this may be a ship better suited to two torp launchers up front.
for the role the kumari is being aimed at, the bop's do it better due to universal boff slotting. however those wing cannons have to be parsed with and without 3pc consoles. if they become competitive or exceed abop damage in pve, there may be cause for concern (also depending on duration and cooldown).
