When you are silenced by the peer muting system (which is very abusable), you receive no mail, including exchange sale notifications, or exchange expired items or the like.

This is a major issue which can very easily be abused to grief players and deprive them of their items, as if they are selling items on the exchange and they expire, they will not receive those items in the mail- the items just... vanish.
