Anyone else having graphics card overheating problems? I'm having to run my fans at 100% just to keep the temps in the mid 90's, even at the login screen I can see the gfx temp rising rapidly, to where its 105 degrees after about 5mins, not good considering 106 degrees is getting towards the burn out point...
I've tried dropping the level of detail etc and still the amount of stress being generated on the gfx cards seems very high.
I'm running a NVidia 9800gt, tried it in both sli and removing a card and using single gpu mode, and never had this problem with any other online or offline games, LOTRO, EVE, Crysis, etc etc.
Have you physically looked at the card? Best bet is there is a big dust bunny living in your heatsink on the card. Take out the card and clear him out of there! Then you'll be good to go. Last few times my card overheated that was exactly the problem.
Remove your cards and blow all the dust out, pressurized air works well.
Update your drivers --if your completely up to date, consider dropping back 1 version, or loading beta drivers.
Remove any overclock or custom driver settings/utilities
Is there a way to check the temperature of a geForce 8800GT? SpeedFan is not really working on my system
The only thing my GPU does is make a lot of noise (think it really is time to change fan), but I'm used to that. I play LotRo on maxed settings as well, and aside from the noise the GPU makes all goes well...

Try the 'nVidia Monitor' utility.
Besides that 'ATI Tool' is great... it works with all sorts of GPUs.
