Fleet ships are copy pastes WITOUT console, WITHOUT anything added that actually helps except a few .01% of a status added.

OK , thenperhaps I misunderstood what you meant by "jet treatment" -- as that to me equals Bug/Defiant/BOP stats , and I didn't recall any request for the Galaxy to be made into an Escort .
(and I absolutely agree with the requests to buff the Galaxy , as I see it as unthinkable that ships that are 40-80 years older have superior firepower to that of the Galaxy)

There are quite a few threads with these suggestions.
Not all of us want the same things for the Galaxy.
While there are a lot of people around who want to make the Galaxy more useful than she is now does not mean we agree on the how.

Indeed. The reason so few KDF ships are sold, the reason so few people play KDF is because KDF is only half done. It is what KotOR2 was when it was released, only half a game.

If Cryptic wants to make money on KDF ships, the need to start at the bottom. Give KDF more content. Fully develop the KDF. Give players a reason TO play KDF in the first place. Get enough people playing KDF, and you will then have enough people buying KDF ships to make developing those ships profitable.

Feds need more ships so the KDF can see the different kind of geometrical shapes and symmetry of FED junk left floating after a battle.

If you read what you are saying the answer is staring at you:
If cryptic does a lot of work on one faction cryptic may be able to make money on kdf ships.

Or, cryptic doesnt have to do anything. Doesn't have to apply the resources. Doesn't have to gamble on fixing a badly done faction 3 years in. Can make more duck shaped ships for 60$ and Lockboxes.

Roach has this right. The problem stems from lack of understanding and faction polarization. Sadly, though, it is seen on both sides.

The problem is not actually all about faction development. It's a big part, but not that big. The real problem is the general view of the KDF. They are viewed as the bad guy, the aggressor. They are in fact another faction with their own drives and goals. But not everyone can make that mental paradigm shift, most want to play the "good guys", so they play the Fed side with its "higher standards", forgetting the highly honor based warrior culture of the Klingon.

Change this view and more will play KDF, resulting in higher KDF player percentage, more development, and more ships.

But the thing we need to drop as a community is the Fed/KDF bashing. We all play this game. There is no good guy or bad guy. Oh, and if more KDF ships are made it automatically generates content if those new ships can be part of spawns that make combat and missions more unpredictable.

This is the truth. I still remember the angry "ridged flight" that happened when they KDF where rolled under the bus before release of the game.
Its sad how many left and have not returned.

I do understand why you could think so, but the relative age of the designs is a rather invalid factor in STO. That is simply by using terms like REFIT, RETROFIT in the names of the ships (*cough* Tier 5 K't'inga *cough*).

And in regards to KDF not getting new C-Store ships, I hope Stahl for once acts according to his words and "builds the KDF faction so that players come" (I know, it's a blind hope). For one thing is sure, KDF faction isn't gonna get any more popular or lucrative if it is left as it is.

1) Either they'll let KDF (and likely other factions, should they release any) rot in darkness, only sharing new trans-factional content.

2) Or they'll have to "build it", as Stahl claims to be willing to do.

Currently they're expressing wish to do the second point but act based on the first one.
