I have a Tac captain that I plan on running in an escort, and I was thinking of running with an all plasma loadout on weapons.

Question, does the Plasma fire DoT stack for energy wepons, and all weapons?

Starting plasma fire stacks with only plasma energy weapons is difficult due to the low 2.5% proc activation chance. Plasma torpedoes always start plasma fires, as does the Romulan Experimental Beam Array's hyperflux firing mode. Resist debuffs and plasma infuser tactical consoles will increase plasma fire damage output.

Also, the Embassy Science consoles with Plasma DOT boosts the Plasma DOT damage on Plasma energy weapons.

I was kinda curious as the wiki says that plasma energy weapons do not stack the DoT.

Something I'm toying with, the captain I plan to do this with is only lvl 30 right now.
