I have the MKXII jem'hadar set on my heavy escort carrier. The set says it should give 13.1% polaron damage however im only getting 7.5% Im not even getting the 8.1 % of the MKXI set.

My current unbuffed damage is

1798

13.1 % of 1798 is 233

with the jem hadar set

1931 = 7.5% increase.

It should be 2031


This is not just me everyone in my fleet with the same setup is not seeing 13.1%.

Did you take away all the consoles before you did the test? The % boosts are based on the damage before all the other mods are added in. EG you dont get +25% then another 25% of the total after the first boost. Its always a constant boost up from the non buffed base.

If that makes sense?

I have done it every way possible.

Heres two more stats with no CONSOLES. No SCI NO ENG no consoles.

13% of 430 is 55.9

Base damage on polaron 430.5 the 13% increase would put it at 486.2 BUT its at 453.3.. Im missing damage.

13% OF 1357 IS 176.4

Now this way is the same just larger damage. Looking at the HVPC icon. base damage no consoles again. 1357.4 with 13% it should be 1533.8 however its only 1408.8

This has got to be a bug. I put in a ticket a few days ago and no response. Im about to start PMing some people.

One of my guildies got a response from STO. I guess they know about the issue and and are "addressing" it.

I think it means we need more people complaining about it. Im going to put in a ticket in everyday please join me in getting this issue fixed. They sure fixed the new escort bugs very quick.

When talking about damage, it is usually matter of base damage before any skills and bonuses or abilities are added.

Fact is, all the possible buffs we have available push the "real" damage much higher than the base damage was.

If you really want to look further into it, see how much a single tac console adds (a blue Mk XI energy tac console will add 26,2% base dmage to a given energy type) and deduce from it what the base damage actually is.

Then you can try to estimate whether this Jem'Hadar sets adds the appropriate amount or not.
