i have a 47 klingon with a carrier and a 50 fed with a carrier and one thing i noticed was that the feds dont have any carrier pets that in my oppinion can compare to the bird-of-prey carrier pet.
am i the only one who wants an fed carrier pet thats equal to the bird-of-prey?

Quite honestly, if they went into the beta lore, they could easily pull out a couple of fighter light destroyer escorts that could fit the bill.

If possible get the jem Dread and a JHAS for the JHAS pets, they are the best pets ingame atm imo as they have 4 weapons and 4 abilites. polaron turret and beam,dual cannons quantum torps and the abilities are APS, ramming speed, BO1? and HYT1? for the dil store version

I agree with acoldt on his points but to bring up my own. Frigates/raiders are the one unique aspect of KDF now.
Cryptic(DStahl) has given Fed every single unique feature of the KDF and a metricf***ton of other features we're still yet to have implemented or given access to. I think frigate/raiders on fed will be a feature too far in the eyes of Klink players.

i do own the jem dread but i cant get a hold of the jhas. the only way would be via the marketplace but there is none for sale there.

It's not like Cryptics ever really cared what the KDF enthusiasts say.

That being said, I agree. . .Federation should just learn to be happy with what they have for once. It's what the KDF players have had to do.

The Federation has the Atrox and the Armitage (a carrier the KDF has no answer for, of course), and access to the Recluse and the Jem''Hadar carrier. They have Danube-class shuttles with tractor beams. They should learn to just use what they have, rather than jamming their hands forward and demanding more shiny toys.

i understand why cryptic dont do a lot for the klingons. the star trek franchise have always been focused on the federation, the klingons are merely a side-faction you somtimes see. frankly im surprised but still happy that they even allow you to play as one

From what I hear, the dev justification is that the advanced Danubes have either roughly the same or more hitpoints than the B'rotlhs

But, yeah, that's the official line. Danubes are the Federation frigate pet. Ha.

For there being only one unique aspect of the KDF left there sure are a lot of them..
