I've posted a new entry in response to LC #20: "Saying Goodbye." This is the first of several entries I am writing to help establish more of General Ssharki's backstory. I've also posted a thread covering some background information on the Gorn that I've compiled from several sources (including my own imagination) that may be helpful in providing some context when reading these stories.

Please enjoy:

"The Last Candle Burns"

Starring (in order of appearance):
Philip Seymour Hoffman as Cmdr. Ssharki
Juliette Lewis as the voice of Lt. Y'mallor (Gorn, tactical officer)
Alan Alda as the voice of Commodore Tsaagan (Gorn, CO of G.W.S. Komodoensis)
The late great David Carradine as the voice of Cpt. Leguaan (Gorn, CO of G.W.S. Basiliscus)
Tom Sizemore as the voice of Lt. H'rvaath (Gorn, conn officer)
Bai Ling as LCdr. B'tor (Klingon, first officer and away team commander)
Terry Crews as Warrior K'Mach (Klingon, assault officer)
Jeffrey Wright as Cpt. Dward (Klingon, CO of I.K.S. Norgh'Iw
Liev Schreiber as Bekk Abraham, Son of Kovl (Klingon-Human hybrid, engineer officer)
Michael Irby as Lt. Nodar (Klingon, tactical officer)
And Billy Dee Williams as "The Bartender"

Billy Dee Williams?!

Hell. Yes.

Man, he is one of the few people on the planet who should never die (or get older) because there is something *cool* about him.

Or at least he should die like a Klingon.

I've posted an entry for LC #18: "The Academy Days" about a young Gorn named Sway. This is easily the most difficult story I've ever tried to write. It will be tough to read; the piece involves wanton violence and cruelty towards young people. However, Sway's story is an important part of my overall arc and I believe that it needs to be told.

It is important to note that the Gorn children mature at a rate of about 3/4ths that of Humans; i.e. a 16-year-old Gorn is the equivalent of a Human 12-year-old. (See my Introduction to the Gorn thread)

"The Victim"

Starring (in order of appearance):
Ryan Lee as the voice of Sway (Gorn)
Maggie Elizabeth Jones as the voice of young Srenor (Selay)
Jamie Lee Curtis as the voice of R'kssathln (Gorn, Sway's mother)
Rutger Hauer as the voice of Royrork (Gorn, Sway's father)
Kim Coates as Cpt. V'rengh (Klingon, CO of IKS HeH'gonDoq)
Gonzalo Menendez as Warrior Talor (Klingon, officer on IKS HeH'gonDoq)
Sonja Sohn as Lt. T'nemen (Klingon, officer on IKS HeH'gonDoq)
Laura Dern as the voice of Lt. S'stas (Gorn, Klingon Academy assignment officer)
Michael Ironside as MSgt. "Reject" Rejets (Klingon, Academy drill sergeant)
Channing Tatum as Bekk "Junk" J'ngav (Klingon)
T.J. Storm as Bekk "Maggot" Magh'nt (Klingon)
Emerson Wong as Bekk "Sucker" Sechukr (Orion)
Arnold Chon as Bekk "Crybaby" Ciraybe (Orion)
Catalina Sandino Moreno as Bekk Aleida (Orion)
Meagan Tandy as Bekk Naja (Klingon)
Chi McBride as Master-at-Arms Torgo (Klingon)
Alex Gonzalez as Bekk "Drip" Tidrip (Nausicaan)
Adam Baldwin as the voice of S'kaa (Gorn)
Mary-Kate Olsen as the voice of older Srenor (Selay)
Rachel Weisz as the voice of Medic H'rassa (Ferasan)
Mitch Pileggi as Dr. Prongo (Orion)
Jaimie Alexander as Orion girl with ice cream
And Philip Seymour Hoffman as the voice of Ssharki

@takeshi6 - I liked your latest entry to this LC. I'm curious about my feeling at having a Romulan be given a Fed ship like a loaner vehicle from the repair shop, but I guess it is possible. Hopefully it's a set-up for a later LC?

Not sure. Depends on how the LCs go. She does have a Tac Escort in-game, though--this was a way to explain that story-wise, as well as an extra tie-in to the Chase story.

She'll get back to her Valdore eventually--but when she does, it'll have been upgraded to the T5 Retro, possibly even the Fleet Retro version.
