I was wondering why my 8800 which is the recommended requirement was having 30fps... Using 195.62 here. You guys know what's the best one for Win Vista x64, 8800 GTS? Is this happening just with STO, this driver problem, or with most games?

I'm running 195.62 in Windows 7 on a GTX 295 without any issues.

I'm rockin' a GTS 250 on Win7 64bit with the latest 195.62 release. Didn't have TOO many issues.

Space travel was flawless and smooth. Only ran into jitters when I was in person mode (Spacedock, Away Missions, etc.)

Likely this will sort out after about a month of release. Either Cryptic will find the issue in their engine/code or NVidia will knock out an update once they have the game to toy with and tweak.

I wouldn't recommend OC'ing right now tho....REALLY went FUBAR on that...LOL:p

Im running 195.62 On windows 7 using a Gtx 295 and getting some chop / graphic hiccups.. Been playing around with the settings and not getting anywhere.. But then again.. Question for everyone, What resolution you guys running? Im running mine at 1920 x 1080 in a 16:10 aspec ratio. Im betting it has to do more with the resolution setting than anything.

Just another thought.. those not having problems.. Do you have physix enabled? hmmm Might try disabling that and see how it works out.

Yea i dont have to many issues in space but on away missions it's almost unplayable. I have 256 dedicated to video mem. With 2.0 dual core and 3 gig ram. Seems like it should play alot better and it dont.
