2 rounds in a row - pugs - but still some good KDF pvpers

same 5 crusiers

chain healing each other while all doing FAW - constant FAW at all times

I am running a torp B'rel which was pretty useless - HY - useless - bio-neutral - useless - tricobalt - useless - mines - useless

Transphasic spreads were all I could use and Plasma spreads - still with all the shield transfers and heals - I could do nothing

funny I had the highest damage in the last round as only my transphasic and plasma torps were doing any real damage!

What to do?

Against a coordinated group like that? Probably nothing.

Transphasic and DOT is probably the only way you're going to get past the shields, as the cross healing won't get you past the shields. Even if you get transphasic and DOT damage on them, hull heals will also help keep them alive.

Disable, distrupt, and CC if you can, and focus fire targets.

If that's not possible, then yeah you're probably pretty boned :/

Use scrambles to break healing. PSW to break extends already up.

Use a lot of stuff like buffed up EWP to kill people through their shields and to hold targets for your Escorts to wipe out.

Ask for a pugmade in KDFPVP, if you want to team up with some good players.

^this. Coordinated Fed teams spell doom for KDF.

Scrambles screw up healers bigtime, especially if they are using ET or ST as part of their healing rotation, since they're likely to have ST on cooldown. They also mess with FAW.

Well that is a new one in numbers have to agree.There were some federation teams using 2 cruisers and a recluse or 2 recluse using transfer shield between them and FAW with elite auto-healing weapons and probably having human boff's (that is equal to 204 % repair rate) but I haven't meet a full team of 5 .Yet.

My fleet doesn't have access to T4 weapons but i noticed in PVP that these elite weapons can do something against one auto-healing FAW.One thing it works is to tractor the cruiser and hit it with elite weapons if you have them.If there is shield transfer in between than things are getting complicated.
On the other hand I think the OP is from orions and he probably already has the kdf elite disruptors on his ship.If even the elite disruptors can't do anything against fed zombie ship's then I don't know what to say.

I already said it in forum that in these moment federation is stacking many heals (leadership =204% +autohealing FAW) while kdf has limited firepower and burst capabilities to do much against them.There were games were full kdf team couldn't kill one T5 federation cruiser running the healing combo.Yes kdf won that day because there was just one fed zombie ship but slowly all federation ships will get tougher and tougher to kill.Kumari , who is supposed to be a glass canon, if it stacks the combo become a zombie escort with a firepower capable to kill a raptor on 2 passes.

That is why I asked in forum 5 fore /5 tactical console ships to kdf ,because PVP from some time is getting much harder for kdf due to only federation healing buff's (don't want to start the leadership issue -it is another thread and yes the availability for kdf of human boffs is near zero)
Actually when you have to fight such cruisers +transfer shield power then PVP is starting to look more like grind . Btw personally am doing less PVP now than I did before the fleet marks wrapper/leadership fixed/kumari/elite weapons issue.

Its the same as fed vs fed. You need a team with at least 1 if not 2 healers, 2 science captains and 1 or 2 tacs for dps then it's all about timing timing timing. Coordinated alpha strikes with Sci captains doing CC/SNBs will break most if not all... Hell even my fleet will get a few kills this way against a panda premade. Good healers will keep you in the fight so you'll have to run much less.

Against a hardened team it becomes more of team vs team so only through superior teamwork will you win.

Sometimes you get the bear, sometimes the bear gets you.

.... and don't take your B'rel torp boat into arena.
